Our domain name services cover everything that happens after registering your domain: DNS configuration, WHOIS privacy, day-to-day management, renewals and transfers. Each one is built into your Krystal account and backed by our UK support team.
DNS management
Our DNS editor gives you direct control over nameservers, A records, MX records, CNAME records and more, all from your Client area. You do not need a hosting package to use it. If you register a domain with Krystal and host elsewhere, you can still manage DNS configuration with us.
Changes take effect quickly. If you hit a propagation issue or need a second pair of eyes on a record, our support team can help.

WHOIS privacy is included at no extra cost on every domain. We list our details as the registrant instead of yours, so your personal information stays out of public databases. Fully compliant with UK GDPR.
There is nothing to activate and nothing to pay for. Privacy is applied automatically when you register or transfer a domain.

You can manage renewals in two ways. Manual renewal gives you full control. We notify you before a domain expires so you can renew when you are ready. Automatic renewal takes the task off your list entirely. Simply add a payment method and switch on auto-renew. We raise an invoice 28 days before your expiry date and process the charge when it falls due.
Whichever method you choose, the renewal price is the same as the registration price. We don’t inflate the cost when your domain comes up for renewal.

Our domain management dashboard puts your full portfolio in one place. From your Client area you can update registrant contact information, switch nameservers, view registration dates and expiry dates and manage settings across all your domains. If you run an agency or manage domains for clients, you can handle them all from a single account.

Transferring a domain to or from Krystal is straightforward and free. We don’t charge a transfer fee in either direction.
For .uk domains, you place an order and switch the IPS tag to KRYSTAL. For other extensions, you unlock the domain at your current registrar, collect the EPP/Auth transfer code and place a transfer order with us. Our support team can help at every step, and our knowledge base has a full walkthrough.
If you need to transfer away from Krystal, we provide the same tools and support. No penalty, no delay.
