CPU Optimised packages give you a higher ratio of vCPUs to RAM compared to Memory Optimised instances. They’re designed for workloads where processing power matters more than available memory.
The range starts at 1 vCPU with 1GB RAM and scales to 96 vCPUs with 288GB RAM. You can switch between shared and dedicated vCPUs at any time, and GPU add-ons are available on any package size.

CPU Optimised instances suit any workload that spends most of its time on processing rather than memory access.
Data processing and batch jobs

Shared vCPUs give you access to processor time on hardware that may be used by other tenants. Performance is consistent for most workloads, and shared plans cost less. A shared CPU Optimised instance starts at £10/month.
Dedicated vCPUs
Dedicated vCPUs guarantee that your allocated cores aren’t shared. You get consistent clock cycles under sustained load, which removes the variability that can affect long-running processes, real-time applications and latency-sensitive services. Dedicated plans start at £18.50/month.
