Container Registry
for Docker and Kubernetes images

Krystal Cloud gives you a Container Registry to push, store and pull your container images with pay-as-you-go pricing. It works with Docker, Kubernetes and your existing CI/CD pipeline, and you manage images through the console or the API.

How the Container Registry works

Push images with standard Docker tooling, store them with pay-as-you-go pricing, and pull them into your deployments. The registry plugs into your existing CI/CD pipeline and Kubernetes clusters without extra tooling. Each image is kept as a set of versioned layers under a tag, which you reference by tag or by an immutable digest, and shared layers aren't stored twice.

When to use a Container Registry

Use it for storing and distributing your own container images, feeding a CI/CD pipeline, and pulling images into Kubernetes or Docker deployments.

Look elsewhere if you're storing general files or unstructured data, where Object Storage is a better solution. If you need persistent volumes for running containers, Block Storage or File Storage is the right option.

What you get with a managed Container Registry

Docker and Kubernetes native

Push and pull with the tools you already use, with no proprietary client to adopt. Build agents and Kubernetes clusters work with it like any standard registry, so existing CI/CD workflows carry over unchanged.

Pay-as-you-go

You only pay for the image storage you use, with no upfront fee or minimum. Storage scales with the images you keep, so a small project pays a small amount, and the cost rises only as you store more.

Console or API

Browse repositories and tags, inspect images and remove ones you don't need in the Krystal Cloud console. The same actions run through the API, so you can wire image management into scripts and pipelines instead of doing it by hand.

Built on the Krystal Cloud storage platform

Your registry sits alongside the VMs and clusters you deploy on Krystal. It runs on the same distributed storage platform as the rest of Krystal Cloud. Three copies of your data and automatic recovery if a node fails, across data centres in London, Amsterdam and New York. For the full platform detail, see Krystal Cloud Storage.

Container Registry pricing

The Container Registry is pay-as-you-go for image storage. You only pay for what you store, and you can cancel whenever you want. Full pricing is on the cloud pricing page.
