Any Ukrainian national residing in the UK under any of the UK government visas opened in response to the war in Ukraine (including but not limited to Homes for Ukraine, Ukraine Family Scheme, Ukraine Extension Scheme) is eligible to apply for a Ukraine Support Business Account (Eligible Applicant).

The business must be a new business venture, founded or in the process of being founded by the Eligible Applicant (existing businesses operating in the UK prior to March 2022 and prior to the Eligible Applicant’s arrival into the UK will not be considered). Previous businesses managed by Eligible Applicants in Ukraine that are looking to be re-established in the UK are eligible.

Eligible Applicants will be required to provide the following documentation on account opening:

1. Copy of Ukrainian passport bio page (preferred) or copy of Ukrainian birth certificate and
2. Confirmation which visa scheme you have used to come to the UK and either
3. Visa/BRP shown in your passport or
4. Permission to travel letter together from the Home Office with a passport stamp from your entry into the UK.

Eligible Applicants need to validate their ID by passing our fraud checks. This means we have to charge the nominal amount of £1 as a one-off set up fee.

As long as the Eligible Applicant’s application fulfils the criteria, formal qualifications or experience or lack thereof will not influence eligibility, as Krystal believes in equal business opportunity for all entrepreneurs regardless of formal qualifications.

Eligible Applicants will be given a Sapphire hosting plan by default - worth $460/year. After 12 months, your account will be moved automatically onto our normal Sapphire plan and will be charged at the normal Sapphire plan rate. Should you wish to cancel before your 12 months of free hosting is up, you can do so at any time. If you choose to renew your Sapphire plan, you can still take advantage of our moneyback guarantee by cancelling within 60 days. The free website domain (URL) includes the following domain extension co.uk / .uk / .me.uk / .org.uk / ltd.uk / .com / .net / .org / .info and is free for the life of the plan. If you would like a premium domain or a domain with a different domain extension you will need to pay for it.
